Hi! So I’ll be the 1st one to post :)

My daughter just turned 11 and her dance schedule is becoming more intense. Instead of just 1 class a couple times a week, she now has 1 or 2 everyday of the week except Sunday. Im a little worried that its too much for her at this age to juggle with school. I mean I have to give it to her, so far she is doing just fine. But she has always been such a great student and I don’t want her grades slipping because of ballet.

    She does love it though..

Hello! I’ll be the second to post :)

As long as she doesn’t seem overwhelmed and seems to be able to keep up with both it should be fine. I think it’s good to push your kids, I know I push mine, as long as they can handle it. You know the saying about idle hands.

If ballet is what she loves I wouldn’t take that away from her. Just keep on top of her with her school work which i’m sure you’re already doing.

Yes I’m making sure her school work is always done. Sundays are finish homework and projects day! And she does love ballet. I just know that her schedule is going to get a lot more busy as the years go on and with my son having his own activities too, I just want to have enough time to spend with both kids while making sure they are keeping up with school.

I agree.. Not only can our children’s schedules get jammed pack but that means ours do as well!

Worth it all though! And seeing her when she is taking her ballet classes is so great.

My daughter is 8 years old and is now learning an trying to master Pirouettes BUT her glasses keep falling off. So now she seems apprehensive in her turns… Is there anyone who’s child has gotten contacts at the age of 8 for them ? We are considering it…
