Scheherazade enraptures the senses and consumes the soul. A visual feast of exotic scenery and costumes showcase Dennis Spaight’s sensual choreography. Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s sweeping dramatic score rounds out a uniquely memorable interpretation of the classic “1001 Arabian Nights.”
As if this marvelous Arabian journey isn’t enough to fill hearts and souls for a long time to come, the Company sets eyes and ears on fire with Toni Pimble’s original choreographic interpretation of Maurice Ravel’s Bolero.
Also on the program are Toni Pimble’s Two’s Company, originally choreographed for New York City Ballet’s Diamond Project, and Melissa Bobick’s Idyll for Eight.
