George Balanchine / Martha Graham / Ohad Naharin / Joseph Hernandez

Four-part ballet evening

»Labyrinth« unites four different perspectives on the maze of human passions, temperaments, fantasies and emotions. Following George Balanchine’s work »The Four Temperaments«, an examination of the medieval concept of man’s four humours, Martha Graham vividly exposes the path into the labyrinth (»Errand into the Maze«) of human emotions and fears. Ohad Naharin, on the other hand, dedicates himself to the underlying archaic structures of human feeling in »Black Milk«, before Joseph Hernandez’s latest work creates a vision of a new world.
