When Austin-born visual artist Natalie Frank was completing a 2015 exhibition of her Brothers Grimm drawings for the Blanton Museum at the University of Texas-Austin, little did she know that her artwork would be the inspiration for a full-length, story ballet by Ballet Austin’s Stephen Mills, featuring three of those famous cautionary tales: The Frog King, Snow White, and The Juniper Tree.
