About The International Partner Dance Intensive (TIPDI)

Have you always wanted to try ballet? Curious about what the heck modern dance is? Did you dance when you were younger, but then you stopped? Want to try again? Then TIPDI's "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Classical Dance, But Were Afraid to Ask" Intensive is just right for you! Join our super friendly, knowledgable, accessible, much-loved TIPDI instructors Sasha Soreff and Elizabeth Douglas for two days of dance fun! Our two-day intensive is for anyone who has ever wanted to learn ballet and modern dance, but felt like they were too old, too inexperienced, or too out of shape, to step into the studio. At TIPDI, there are no preteens wearing Miley Cyrus t-shirts with their legs wrapped around their heads. No intimidating crowded rooms where everyone already seems to know the warm-up. No scary teachers or competitive students. TIPDI's Ballet and Modern Dance Boot Camp is about making you a better dancer in a stress-free weekend with awesome instructors! Join us for two days of friendly, fun, informative dance training in a non-competitive environment geared towards adult learners!! The majority of our students range in age from early 30s to late 50s, but anyone 18 and older is welcome to attend! We'll also go out on the town and catch a dance performance on Saturday night! It's a weekend of total dance immersion in New York City!
