The Washington Ballet celebrates 10 years of Septime Webre’s “The Nutcracker”, at the historic Warner Theater in Washington, DC. In addition to the 25 performances at the Warner Theatre, The Washington Ballet will have four performances at THEARC Theater in Southeast DC. A DC holiday classic! Septime Webre’s delightful “Nutcracker” is set in 1882 Georgetown starring George Washington as the heroic Nutcracker. Dazzling costumes, sets dripping with cherry blossoms, historical characters, Revolutionary War soldiers, this “Nutcracker” is a thrilling tribute to our nation’s capital.
