The Brookline Ballet School was opened by Trinidad Vives and Parren Ballard in January 2010 to serve the Boston Metro area. Our goal is to provide our students an unparalleled level of professional training in classical ballet, as well as to be an inclusive venue where enthusiasts of all ages and abilities can enjoy a variety of dance and fitness disciplines. Ms. Vives and Mr. Ballard bring decades of combined experience as professional dancers, ballet masters and teachers to the Youth Ballet Program. Their hands-on approach and the small class sizes allow students to benefit from individualized attention to achieve rapid development. TBBS faculty members are dedicated to teaching our students a pure ballet technique, as the foundation from which mastery of all dance forms grows. We encourage our students to pursue their goals in a nurturing environment, fostering a lifelong love for dance through dedication and hard work. TBBS offers adults a range of ballet classes appropriate for absolute beginners through professional dancers. From our focus on the study of classical ballet, we offer classes in a variety of dance and fitness forms for preschoolers, children and adults alike. The school is housed in a recently completed facility with two spacious studios and full comfortable amenities, conveniently located in Brookline's Coolidge Corner in the Boston Metro area. The studios are also available for rental for classes, rehearsals and other purposes.
