Hello! I’m a single mom and am so excited about starting adult ballet in a few weeks! I used to take tap and jazz when I was much younger but haven’t danced in years and years. I was wondering if it is ok if I bring my 6 year old daughter with me for my hour and 15 min class or do I need to get her a babysitter? She is well behaved and if I give her an activity she will keep herself entertained but I don’t really know if the teacher would be ok with that.

Hi! I’m sure if you talk to the teacher of the class and let her know your situation she would be fine with your daughter sitting quietly in the corner. I know how expensive getting a babysitter all the time can be!

That’s what I was thinking.. As long as I talk with the teacher before hopefully it won’t be a problem! Babysitters can get expensive and who knows, my daughter might see my ballet class and want to try herself!

What little girl wouldn’t want to be a ballerina :) Good luck with your ballet class!
