The School is based on classical ballet with a syllabus reflecting a blend of Vaganova, Checchetti, and other Classical Ballet techniques, as well as a variety of contemporary dance styles. Classes are offered for students age 3 through adult who enjoy dance as well as those who would like to pursue a career in the field. ADT School Faculty and Associate Artistic Director assign appropriate placement of all the students. Our accompanist program provides live piano music for many ballet classes. Workshops with guest teachers and residencies with professional dance companies are offered throughout the season.
