About Ballet Idaho Summer Intensive
Our 2017 Summer Intensive is for intermediate and advanced students, ages 11 - 18. The four-week program will focus on Ballet, Pointe and Variations, and offer supplemental courses in Conditioning, Contemporary, Jazz, Choreography, and Hip Hop. Faculty includes Ballet Idaho artistic staff as well as guest faculty from distinguished companies and schools. Individualized attention and a small teacher/student ratio is a key component to our intensive. Also unique to our program is the Student Choreographic Initiative, where students delve into the choreographic process, experiment with compositional tools and work with mentors to create dance. An informal showcase will take place on Friday, July 14, in the late afternoon, highlighting student accomplishments and creativity.
