My child’s school recently started silent auctions at their performances.
Basically they would go around town asking small businesses for donations of their services, usually in gift certificate form, and since the school is non-profit it was a tax write-off. I’m not sure if that applies to you.
They had everything from $100 dollar gift certificates at local restaurants, florists, even a dance store.
