Toe spacers for bunions

    does anyone use toe spacers? I have those gel ones and my bunion on my right foot hurts soooo bad! its okay in my soft shoes but in my pointe shoes its almost unbearable now :(

    Ouch! Are your sure your pointe shoes are the right size? If the bottom part is too small, it will squish your toes and cause more pain on your bunion.

    well, ive been wearing the same size for almost a year now. my feet might still be growing, but they feel the same since when i bought them. my bunion was hurting before that tho.

    You may want to try a different style shoe then. Every shoe is different and designed for different types of feet. Try visiting a local ballet shop or talk to your teacher about it. Its hard to purchase shoes online blindly without first trying them on.

    If its really bad, you may need to see a doctor. My friend had to and had a surgery and now shes dancing with no pain! It wasnt for a bunioon though, it was her ankle, but it didnt get better until she saw the doctor. dancing with too much pain makes it not fun, she was so miserable she wanted to quit. its definitely worth it if you can!!
