Beyond learning basic terms and positions on youtube it would be impossible to become a professional. Having a qualified teacher and the right facilities and tons of time, practice, performance are key! I’d find the nearest professional company that has a school go there and chat with the teachers see if there are any scholarships available to help you out!! You can try to find a part time job to pay for classes too! If you just want to do ballet at a rec level again go find a ballet school in your area and talk to the teachers see if they can help you out!! Best of luck!!

I’d recommend communicating with your teacher! Tell her that things are a bit to fast for you and is there any way she could give you some easier combinations so you can work more basic technique and improve to the level of the other girls in your class. I’m sure she’ll be cool with it!! As far as muscle pain or aches ballet works different internal muscles then running, lifting, and other exercizes do! Don’t worry you should be fine after a few weeks of classes!! Keep going and doing your best!! Good luck!!

Which City do you live in???? Should be easy to find ballet classes for adults in any large to medium size city! My class is practically full around 15 adults at each class everything from absolute beg to adv and I live in Rochester, NY I think there are around 4-5 adult classes going on in my area and Rochester is medium size! Hope you find an awesome class somewhere!! Good luck!
